Y2K is a mind blowing special fx spectacular! Made with almost nothing, the team of Gonzales, Shumway and Siderman delivers a great short film centering around the havoc that the Y2K bug could have produced. It features awesome special fx that put some of Hollywood big budget to shame! Y2K is filled with good acting, fast and dynamic editing, a cool story, a great ambient score and more!

Y2K is the horrific thriller about the potential dangers of the Y2K bug. Kirkland Industries, a Bio-Tech lab specializing in DNA and Cloning research, realizes a desperate need to solve the time bomb known as Y2K problem. Neil, Jason Fenton (The Crier), is a mercenary hacker hired to help with this computer disease that can cause serious monetary loss for the compagny. An unbelivable result occurs once the clock strikes 12:00 AM with no solution in sight.

The videotape also includes the very cool documentary, A 2 YEAR JOURNEY: THE MAKING OF Y2K. It features all the aspect of the making of the films such as; pre-production, production, fx, make-up, post production, deleted scenes, bloopers, photo gallery, biographies, trailer and more!

Before writting this review i watched the film 3 times. The more i've watched it, the more it impressed me. I can't wait to see their next project and hopefully one day theses three talented young filmmakers will get a decent budget and will be able to do what they want!
